Mena Alexandra suvari, born on February 13, 1979, in America is an actress, fashion designer and a model. After beginning her career as a model she soon began acting as a guest on 90's television shows such as Boy Meets World and High Incident. The film debut came with the show Nowhere, that was released in the year 1997. Her transition into big roles through her appearances as a character in American Beauty for which she was nominated for a BAFTA Award and American Pie and American Pie, both of which gained more attention. In the following years, she starred in Loser (2000) with the American Pie co-star Jason Biggs and later played the main character in the comedy Sugar & Spice (2001). She had appearances in the 2002 independent drama Spun as well as the 2004 action film Trauma. Also, she starred in HBO the drama Six Feet Under. The series was a hit during 2004. In 2005, the Screen Actors Guild honored her as one of the outstanding actors.
